Since 1994 I have developed websites and applications for companies, organizations, friends, family, school, and my own personal enjoyment. This section features a small selection of my website work, from simple page designs to extensive sites with all of the bells and whistles. I code all of my websites directly by hand, although I have experience working with applications and IDEs such as NetBeans, Dreamweaver and HomeSite.

Birth Choice

December 2004

This design was a freelance project for TWDS. One interesting aspect is that the Flash introduction and menu are controlled entirely by ActionScript.

Branch Lenders

November 2004

TWDS requested a simple design for Branch Lenders, a subsidiary of the Pacific Northwest Mortgage Corporation.

Real Choices

March 2004

This TWDS site has an interactive Flash menu on its home page. However, it was while creating the template design that I learned a lot about putting a page together with CSS.

The Teen Care Center

December 2003

This was an extensive freelance project for TWDS. It includes a Flash introduction, a template system, an integrated Flash masthead, Perl scripts, and a fluid template design.

Net Atlantic

July 2003

Net Atlantic had a competition for a redesign of their site, and this was my submission.

The Alpha Center

March 2003

The Alpha Center website design was one of my first projects for TWDS. It features the organization’s logo integrated into a Flash introduction and template menu design.

akdphi.org

January 2003

The national board of alpha Kappa Delta Phi Sorority, Inc. chose me to update their website with a fresh, new look. Because the site is so widely viewed, I was very excited about the opportunity.

Ahwai and Lilian

December 2002

Following the engagement of my youngest aunt, I happily created a wedding website.

Sixties in Stereo

October 2002

As an inaugural member of UVA’s College Technology Internship Program, I helped my faculty sponsor create a website for his class “Sixties in Stereo”.

Pacific Northwest Mortgage Corporation

July 2002

This was the first project for TWDS in which I used Flash, finding that it was easier to create compatability across Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer.

Guitar crash course

June 2002

This is a submission for the 5k website contest, where each entry’s size is restricted to 5 kb. It is a crash course in guitar, where I teach you step by step how to play Greenday’s “Time of Your Life”.

Verses by g

June 2002

This is a submission for the 5k website contest, where each entry’s size is restricted to 5 kb. It is a simple dynamic HTML interface featuring my favorite quotations.

uvakdphi.com

May 2002

This extensive site for my sorority featured everything - a Flash introduction and menu, Perl scripts, background music, as well as password-restricted sections, including a discussion forum and an interactive events calendar.

Castles in the Sky #2

April 2002

This version of the “Castles” theme began my trend of focusing less on detailed content and more on thoughtful subject matter. However, due to an oversized masthead, this design did not last long.

AAPAAN

February 2002

UVA’s Asian and Pacific American Alumni Network asked me to create their website. The design was one of my simplest and allowed for easy updating.
